The North East and Yorkshire
The North East has a justified reputation of being home to some of the

Newcastle city centre is the party capital of England. Split into 4 main areas
Haymarket for the older clientele. The gate for mixed clientele, or the bustling
big market where Newcastle's party crowd descend most weekends. The historic
quayside area boasts bars & clubs to suit everyone's tastes, It also provides
stunning views of the millennium bridge, the Tyne bridge and the sage music
centre.

Newcastle city Council is actively encouraging the development of homes in the
centre of the city. Many historical buildings which were previously occupied by
businesses are now living accommodation. Newcastle also boasts some of the
biggest names on the High street, including Fenwick's, Boots, Marks and
Spencer's, Mc Donald's.....and many more.

You can also enjoy the seaside towns such as South Shields,
Tynemouth, Culler coats and
Whitley bay. This whole area is linked by a superb and efficient public transport
network which includes the Metro, buses and even boats.

Transport links are second to none providing excellent access
to all of the area. The Tyne & Wear metro system takes you from Newcastle
International Airport into the city centre and down to the beautiful Coastlines
of the north east. People travelling from outside the area can access via the
east coast main line into Newcastle Central Station or by car the A1 provides
links to both the city centre and the Scottish borders. You also have the A69
which takes you to Hexham and rural Northumberland.
 Sunderland
The City of Sunderland has a population of just under 300,000
and is the largest city between Edinburgh and Leeds. It is situated on the north
east coast of England, with access to some of the most beautiful countryside in
England. Sunderland is a city with a difference - a modern, bustling centre that
is balanced with a relaxing green environment, stunning coastal scenery and a
refreshing attitude to life.
The University has been providing higher education in the
city since 1901.

York
York itself is a pleasant City and has a wide choice of housing with older
town houses within the City walls and newer developments on the outskirts of the
City. The market towns of Pocklington and Malton are also within easy travelling
distance of Fera, as are the numerous villages located to the north, east and
south of York.
Transport links to York are exceptionally good, with fast rail services to
major towns and cities. A short trip takes you into some of the most beautiful
and spectacular scenery in England, in the Yorkshire Dales and the North York
Moors National Parks. The Yorkshire coast is equally near.

Other Areas
All throughout the north east the stunning aspects of rural
England can be found, Northumberland provides tranquil settings such as Morpeth,
Sea houses, Alnwick to name but a few with idyllic country walks taking in some
of the most picturesque and stunning countryside. Other areas include Berwick,
Hartlepool which will be hosting the 2010 Tall ships race.
